I want to congratulate @gregglintern on his retirement as Chief Planner.
For 40 years, Gregg has served Torontonians by overseeing consequential changes to planning policies & leading projects that transformed our city. His vision and passion will be missed. Thank you Gregg.
Tonight, between 6:45-10pm, the City of Toronto is lighting the #Toronto sign in the blue and white of the Israeli flag in solidarity with Israel and in condemnation of terrorism and hate.
We stand against all forms of discrimination, hatred and bigotry, and for the safety and well-being of all young people.
Some wish to target our schools and libraries to spread hate. We know these must be spaces that welcome everyone, especially students.
The City of Toronto stands with 2SLGBTQ+ communities and youth. There is no place for transphobia and intolerance in our city and everyone should feel safe in being their authentic selves. Today, the Trans Flag was raised at City Hall.
The @CityPlanTO Midtown Section community planners visit the STARGATE public art installation at 150 & 155 Redpath Ave. This project, designed by Anna Passakas, Radoslaw Kudlinski and the art group Blue Republic, consists of 7 sculptures and 2 glass murals. #whatplannersdo
