We are thrilled to officially announce the successful completion of the Shido Network blockchain protocol audit, conducted by the highly esteemed security firm @Zokyo_io. Shido achieved a stunning audit score of 92/100, with over 211,000 lines of code from the Shido Network codebase reviewed. This accomplishment reflects our unwavering commitment to security, innovation, and excellence in the blockchain space.

Zokyo’s professionalism and expertise in blockchain security were instrumental in this process. Their thorough and meticulous approach ensured a comprehensive evaluation of our protocols, and we are proud to have met their rigorous standards.

The audit revealed zero critical or high-level threats, a testament to the robust and secure architecture of the Shido Network protocols. This remarkable achievement underscores the reliability and integrity of our blockchain technology.

While the audit did identify some medium and low-level issues, partly found in libraries from the Cosmos SDK, Comet BFT, and EthereumGo, these findings are invaluable as they illuminate a clear path for future upgrades and enhancements. Our development team is already at work addressing these areas, and we are confident that these improvements will further elevate the Shido protocol’s performance and security.

Over 211,000 lines of our code were meticulously audited by Zokyo’s team of experts, ensuring the highest level of security and professionalism. This rigorous audit process confirmed the robustness and reliability of the Shido Network.

Most importantly, no critical issues or vulnerabilities were identified in the codebase during the full audit. On the contrary, the audit revealed opportunities for potential future chain upgrades that could further enhance the performance speed and security.

We remain dedicated to maintaining the highest standards as we continue to develop and enhance the Shido Network and ecosystem.

Shido continues to work towards vastly increasing the throughput of Shido Network. We are currently maintaining a stable and tested stagenet with 400ms block creation.

In test environment, we have recorded block formation times of 160ms, making us the fastest chain in the space.
