I am Yale educated writer who is obsessed with the evils of carbs. My friends no longer want to hear it, so I am reduced to twittering to strangers. Sigh.
@ErwanLeCorre@ErwanLeCorre Compelling argument. As a health conscious guy who's just beginning to look into breathwork (trying butekyo), my main concern is "first, do no harm." I like the idea of breath holding but have safety worries. any resources you recommend?
@calleymeans@GardnerPhD@calleymeans these DGAs will be seen from the future as quite possibly be the most consequential moment of the 21st century (9/11, covid, etc included); they will save millions of American lives. Well done! (and @GardnerPhD can go cry into his bowl of oats)
@DrMakaryFDA THANK YOU @DrMakaryFDA! The First Law of Thermodynamics belongs in physics class, not in the DGAs. Flipping the pyramid will save millions.
@bigfatsurprise@bigfatsurprise I know it's half a metaphorical (and, maybe literal!) loaf, but it's still major progress, and you deserve so much credit. THANK YOU on behalf of all Americans/the world
@calleymeans 1000% correct! To see this coming from someone like you, who's helping to shape the next DGAs, is truly fantastic. Never thought I'd see the day.
@alexleaf@Alexleaf 8) Anyway, sorry for blowing up your timeline, and thanks again for engaging me on this. Enjoy your day and hope to pick up this thread soon!
