Imagine paying a carpenter for a table and he brings you one with three legs then says “At least mine is better than the last one.” Are you supposed to eat on improvement or on a working table?
Imagine every taxpayer in Ghana asking the same question for one month:
“What exactly did you do with our money?”
Not NDC. Not NPP. Just citizens asking for receipts. Where did the taxes go? What was fixed? What improved? Because if you cannot show us what you did with the last money, with what face are you coming to collect more? This kind of protest can be more powerful than marching in the streets.
There so many government agencies and departments that are mandated by law to provide some specific goods and services in Ghana that people barely know. Even as civil servant, sometimes I’m shocked some agencies exist 💀
Anyway, I’ll try and highlight some of them here to create some public awareness. I know it will go a long way to help people 🥰
This one is against our collective progress. He does not deserve to live amongst us.
It is okay to abandon western ideals and values in scenarios like this.

They have convinced us that even after you build your own house, buy your own car, pay for your own food and fund your own life, government must still keep collecting from you. Cool but after collecting from us for decades, why are we still begging for roads, water, hospitals, schools and basic services?
Imagine a country where every time government announces a new tax, citizens immediately ask:m “What happened to the old one?” Before you add another levy, show us the result of the last levy. We can’t do this kɛkɛ? Aw
