Building things on the web with no-code and AI. Currently wrangling Experts & ecosystem partnerships @glideapps. Here I be lurkin'.

[David Siegel @dvdsgl]

Seeing some gravedancing and armchair autopsying of no-code on the TL. Wanted to share my perspective as an engineer who built a scaled no-code tool (@glideapps).

Sitting in on the @NotionDevs launch watch party in Toronto.

Notion’s docs UI is deceptive — there’s always been a powerful DB platform under the hood.

The new dev capabilities (sync, CLI, managed agents, etc…) crack it open.

@andruyeung Group training. Need the coach to keep the team members accountable.

“Stripe's marketing org is betting that AI should not be an occasional tool but the default mode for all work.

But they also understand that most employees won't upskill themselves. They'll need someone who is embedded within their teams to build alongside them.”

[Andrew Yeung @andruyeung]

Stripe just created a role that didn't exist 12 months ago (and they're paying multiple six figures for it)

It's called the Forward Deployed AI Accelerator.

They are hiring AI-native individuals to work directly with their marketing teams to fundamentally change how they work.

Each person will be assigned to a cohort of 20 marketers. Their job is to build custom AI tools and agents and coach each marketer until they are self-sufficient.

Basically, work with marketers until they automate their jobs.

Stripe's marketing org is betting that AI should not be an occasional tool but the default mode for all work.

But they also understand that most employees won't upskill themselves. They'll need someone who is embedded within their teams to build alongside them.

If you are AI-pilled, this is probably the role for you.

And this also gives a clear picture of where every organization within a company is heading.

@MatthewBerman @agentmail https://t.co/P570irjDtm is like https://t.co/sGkm4RlCqN with backend, cron jobs, email, frontend.

Its incredible. You can just build.

@bentossell @FactoryAI Your announcement was the first email I read this morning. Love the transparency + shared journey. Congrats on the new role. Perfect fit. 🤘

Walking to Here East from Stratford Station takes you through a construction zone surrounding a chill cafe.

Seems apt for @CreateWithHQ 🧱

🚨 BREAKING: Google just turned Gemini into an AI operating system.

At I/O 2025, they launched a full suite of tools that go way beyond chat.

Here’s what just dropped and it’s wild: 🧵👇

I’m in London this week for #CreateWith and meetups w/ the @glideapps crew

+ my first time in 🇬🇧!

[Andy @ Glide @nocodeandy]

@dominiconorton @glideapps Pretty full calendar already, but we’ve got time on Tuesday. Drop me a DM 👌

[Andy @ Glide @nocodeandy]

@tomosman @glideapps This was the last piece of advice from my wife!

“Worse than Paris?”
“Worse than Paris.”

Meanwhile in Toronto we’re leaving our laptops lying around on cafe tables without a second thought 😅

Nothing quite like the pure chaos of an Air Canada gate queue. Suddenly everyone forgets how numbers work.

[Andy @ Glide @nocodeandy]

@saminsolitude @glideapps We’ve got a bunch of stuff coming with API 2.0, should come in handy for situations like this.

@erwblo @glideapps Ha! Yeah, a defined method to the madness. 😅

[Andy @ Glide @nocodeandy]

I spend a ton of time with Gliders, but talking to users != being a user.

Gotta get in there and build things.

So I swung back into builder mode with @glideapps this week.

Feels good.

Biggest difference from vibe coding? Starting with backend structure, not frontend UX/UI.
