Great excitement at the encampment today! We started early… making the dough, chopping the vegetables, preparing the sauce, putting the pizzas and pastries together …
We fired up the encampment’s 4 ovens and baked 2 trays in each at a time! Soon we had a tableful of delicious steaming pizzas and pastries ready to share out. I packaged 70 platefuls!

It was a sizeable operation and so worthwhile… you can judge the results for yourselves from the appetising images and the delighted recipients … the poorest children in our community!

The total cost today including the ladies' wages and the fuel for the oven was approximately $250. It was all possible thanks to you, our donors. You empower us and uplift us, nourishing spirit as well as body. Sudan: 60,000 Killed, 150,000 Missing: Satellite Images Reveal El Fasher ‘Slaughterhouse’

Satellite images show that El Fasher has become a “slaughterhouse”, with the RSF killing tens of thousands after seizing the city.

Large piles of bodies, new mass graves, and cremation pits are visible in satellite imagery.

British MPs were briefed that at least 60,000 people are believed killed, and up to 150,000 residents remain missing since the RSF captured the city on 26 October 2025.

Human rights experts say El Fasher is likely the worst war crime of the Sudanese civil war, already marked by mass atrocities and ethnic cleansing.
