Idrc about making it a love triangle but it kinda defeats the purpose if Elizabeth died protecting the monster it would’ve been interesting if the monster killed her after she extended her kindness

The Frankenstein movie adaptation is so bad and it got rid of all the themes of the book, bc the monster is too explicitly a victim and doesn’t directly kill Elizabeth and William? and victor apologizes and the monster forgives him?? + William says victor was the real monster 😭

Like both Victor and the monster are supposed to be self loathing and shameful and cruel, but the monster doesn’t kill little William or Elizabeth and has no complexity he’s just a victim, and victor is so uncomplicated and cruel for no reason
