@koorlo@MerakiWhiskers I agree that Chloe was a safe space for Marta, and it was so weartwarming to see. The situation as it is now is indeed cruel to Chloe 😢 I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced something similar 🫂
@koorlo@MerakiWhiskers Yes, I also think that. Because of how they wrote Fina when she came back, still in a relationship with Bianca, I get that people are nervous. Remember that in the phone call to Bianca, she was still professing her deep love for her. So, it's ambivalent at best...
I was talking about her relation/friendship with Marta. I admit I almost forgot the main storyline: She was Brossard's representative when they took over Perfumerías de la Reina, and everyone in the factory hated the takeover. She had the authority to give orders and override people's decisions. So when she arrived, she was not liked (she represented Brossard), but she became an ally after learning of Brossard's malpractices/ foul play to take over Perfumerias de la Reina.
She never was a villain. She was a bit bold/ persistent in her attraction to Marta at the beginning, though. That was probably because she was written in a way to prompt Marta to question the walls she put up after Fina left. If I remember correctly, she was originally cast to appear in only a limited number of episodes.
You can't make people love you. It was harsh at the time, because I was very young and a friend broke off our friendship for reasons I never knew. A teacher said those words to me, and I think they are so right. We often put so much effort into people to make them like us, but if they don't, they don't. One shouldn't waste energy over that and just move on.
"I want to do with you what spring does with the cherry trees."
Oh, the beautiful early days of their love... #Mafin#MafinEndgame
