A Note From The Team

Dear ParallelChain Community, we understand this is a tough situation for us all to be in, as there has been a lot of uncertainty and doubt surrounding the project and the crypto space for the past weeks.

As a note to all members, we are here to provide some clarity and transparency, alongside with our plans going forward:

1. Is the team doing anything?

Yes, the ParallelChain team will keep building, through good and bad times. This is just the start. We hope our community members can stay vigilant – we have a long journey ahead of us.

On the development side, the team is locked-in and fully focused on rolling out Testnet 4, which you will see the rollout of SDKs and Smart Contract documentations, tutorials and examples for developers to build on ParallelChain Mainnet and Testnet.

2. Is the team selling assets?

No. The development team is fully committed to the long-term growth and development of the ParallelChain ecosystem. In fact, none of the development team members has received their “Team” allocation, we will not be rewarded until we’ve completed the top priority tasks at hand right now.

3. Why was XPLL removed from CoinGecko? And why is there no Market Cap on CMC & CoinGecko?

The XPLL profile on CoinGecko was being updated due to the listing, however, it was resolved in 4 hours and XPLL is now available for tracking on the site.

About the Market Cap data, the team is aware of this, and we're sorry that it is not immediately available. We are actively working with both CMC and CoinGecko on the issue.

4. Why is there no marketing?

Our growth plan is focused on the long term. We understand that some community members would like to see more promotions at this stage, and we are sorry that our efforts did not match the expectation of some members. We will look to change that moving forward.

We assure that there is an appropriate marketing budget set aside, and our #1 priority is to deploy the budget in the most effective manner. Internally, we will make sure to have the developer tools and documentation in place for meaningful growth. Campaigns, promotions, and activities will be deployed across all channels over time.

5. When will there be an ecosystem of ParallelChain applications?

Yes, we will begin to ramp-up our ecosystem development efforts, once Testnet 4 is ready and its documentation released to the public, both are expected within June 2023.
An ecosystem grant program will also be in-place to support the long term growth and development of ParallelChain Ecosystem.

6. Why is there no audit report yet?
Audit reports are being finalised by Hacken.

Our dev team and Hacken are in the final stages of publishing the Audit reports for ParallelChain Mainnet, expected to be released in the matter of weeks.

7. Will you look to improve your transparency and communication with the community?

Yes, we have learned from our past experiences and will implement the following to improve:

- Monthly development updates.
- Bi-weekly community and growth updates.
- Increased social media presence and direct engagement with the community from the team at ParallelChain
