The new Orcutt Shelley Miller LP is out next month (September 5!) and to mark the occasion we're having a "Bandcamp Listening Party" wherein interested parties can check out the record in its entirety and AMA us with whatever queries you got. Save the date — August 29, 11am PST.
RIP Robert Wilson. In 1985-86, I was lucky to see his productions of the CIVIL warS and The Knee Plays at American Repertory in Cambridge MA, images from which remain seared on my visual cortex. Those, and his meditative ocean videos that screened at the ICA Boston.
RIP "visual poet" Robert Wilson (_Einstein on the Beach_, _The Black Rider_, etc.). He was one of those artists who seem to be tapped directly into dreams and express them in their art with astonishing purity. He's surely gone to an amazing place.
