Lindsay Clancy saw 6 doctors and had multiple hospital stays in the months leading up to the murder of her children. She was never once diagnosed with postpartum depression or psychosis.
I did not realize this originally. These terms have been used and applied only during this trial, never before she killed the kids. Most people do not know that. Goes to show how social media narratives can have a huge impact on how you perceive truth.
She had been diagnosed with a mood disorder that left her depressed. She had reportedly considered suicide. She had trouble sleeping. That’s why she was on and off so many medications.
But never had she claimed to have heard voices, except for during the short window that she killed her babies. A psychologist today testified that hearing voices only once would be extremely unusual if a person is truly having a psychotic episode.
When I first started talking about this trial weeks ago, I thought the defense’s case was compelling. I have long been concerned about the effects of SSRIs and thought for sure they could be the culprit. I don’t see the strong case for that anymore.
I think Lindsay was methodical, deliberate, and knew exactly what she was doing.
This is the most heartbreaking thing you will read. Those of you peddling conspiracies about this case and baselessly blaming Patrick are actual ghouls.
This is perfect.
ICE agent: “If you cared, you would care about the child who got raped and the person who got murdered by the guy we’re looking for. “
Awful, ugly white lady: “I don’t care.”
The entire insane national debate encapsulated in 20 sec.
Whether you believe trans women are women or not, they do not belong in the military
Trans people have an attempted suicide rate of ~40%
Military personnel already have an unacceptably high suicide rate & have some of the most stressful jobs on the planet
Trans people and the military is probably the worst combination I can think of
If the military can ban people for being flat-footed and having heartburn (which they do), obviously thinking you're a different gender and requiring a cocktail of drugs should similarly prohibit enlistment
In my entire life we have never had anyone in the White House who would ever talk about abortion in these terms, or even talk about it at all. If you’re a conservative and you can’t appreciate this, I don’t know what to tell you. You’re just determined to be mad no matter what. Great stuff from Vance.
Libs in 2020: “put everyone on indefinite house arrest, if it only saves one life lockdowns are necessary”
Libs in 2025: “we can’t lock up career violent felons, even if a few girls get burned or stabbed on the train every week, it’s a small price to pay for social justice”
Reading this made me feel a deep sense of gratitude. We live in a country where we can freely worship God.
No group should ever be persecuted for practicing their religion. We don’t have to share the same beliefs in order for us to respect each other.
Numerous countries all around the world are being affected by this horror & it’s dangerous to pretend we don’t notice.
Thank you to The President & his team for taking this seriously.
God bless every persecuted Christian.
Let’s remember to lift them up in prayer.
What does a truly safe city feel like?
Strolled through a park in downtown Taipei, Taiwan last night around 9:30pm, long after sundown-
Playgrounds were full. Children wandered in grassy areas, while parents calmly watched from benches under dim street lights. Young women crossed through wooded pathways, alone.
Nobody concerned in the least about vagrants, druggies, mugging or worse.
Because tolerance of crime is a choice society makes.
Taiwan has made the right one, and benefits from that every day.
Democrat-run cities in the U.S. have made the wrong choice, over and over. So we all suffer. It’s shameful and cruel.
In the end, it wasn’t the “soft presence” Christians who sparked the revival. It was the bold ones— those who boldly persisted in telling the truth and pushed relentlessly against the darkness in our culture.
Like all of you, I am utterly stunned and heartbroken and sick to my soul today. It is unimaginable to write these words. I met Charlie Kirk when he was 18 years old, a young man so eager and determined that I immediately turned to a friend and said, “That kid is going to be the head of the RNC one day.” Charlie became even bigger and more important than that. It was a privilege to watch this principled man stand up for his beliefs and create the single most important conservative political organization in America. But more importantly, Charlie was a good man, a man who believed in right and wrong, who stood by his Biblical values. All of us will miss him, and I can’t imagine the pain of his beautiful young family, and we must all pray for them. And we must pick up the baton where Charlie left it, fighting for the things he believed in so passionately. And we must fight for a better America - an America where good people can speak truth and debate passionately without fear of a bullet. I weep for Charlie’s family, and I weep for my country today. Most of all, I weep for Charlie.
If you ask me, make it public. Let the entire world see the consequences for slaughtering 1,200 Israelis in a single day. Hamas doesn't have the right to exist. Every single one of them has a special place in hell. The death penalty is the only way to go.
I’ve had many trans activists use a great paper called “Sex Determination: Why So Many Ways of Doing It?” as an argument for the sex spectrum. “See!” they say, “There is not one way to define sex.”
But they fail to see the irony. This paper is not arguing that there are many ways to define the sexes. Rather, it’s discussing the different mechanisms that are involved in producing males and females across species. It’s revealing just how robust the binary system of sex is by showcasing how many different biological pathways there are to consistently produce the same result of males and females.
I have never seen or heard a publicly proposed solution to this that would actually work. Not once.
The truth is, you can't have widespread feminism AND high birth rates. And people have chosen implicitly that feminism is more important. Very few modern men or women have the appetite or will to cut back on these 'gains'. Including conservatives.
There are other contributing factors, but this is the uncomfortable crux of the issue.
You cannot have mass feminism (both in policy and culture) and high birth rates. They are opposing forces.
Jenna, it has nothing to do with autonomy. They’re using taxpayer money. If you’re taking our money to buy food, you’ve already sacrificed your autonomy. Taking our money to buy junk food that has absolutely no nutritional value is a slap in our faces as taxpayers. If you want autonomy at the grocery store, don’t go shopping with other people’s money.
