As the first woman saint of Indian origin, St. Alphonsa Muttathupadathu bore a life of severe illness and hardship with silent, joyful love for the Lord. Embracing her trials as gifts to grow in grace, she remains a model of endurance for all of us.
VIDEO | Delhi: Addressing a press conference along with CJP spokesperson Saurav Das, Independent Rajya Sabha MP and senior advocate Kapil Sibal says, "This CJP will create a framework to track what happened at which place, which student or protester was affected, and what action has been taken against them. It will also identify lawyers who can help. They will create a website where lawyers willing to provide legal assistance can register their names, location and the kind of help they can offer. I will contribute Rs. 1 crore, and urge lawyers across India and others to also contribute to this fund so that wherever the law is misused and false cases are filed against peaceful protesters, we will stand with them. Our lawyers will support them across India."

Abhinav Bisht, whose Instagram videos garnered millions of views during the Jantar Mantar protest, says that his account (isaac1rl) has been suspended. He has created another account.
The fundamental demand was the complete withdrawal of all cases against the protesters. Yet, disturbing reports continue to emerge from Assam, West Bengal, and particularly Patna where detentions and incidents of police firing have been reported. Who is directing the police? Is it the Home Minister? If the understanding was to withdraw all cases, it makes little sense for authorities to continue registering FIRs while simultaneously dismissing protesters as so-called 'anti-social elements.' Many of these cases, in fact, have been filed against Muslim students.
The @WBPolice has invoked Goonda Act against these Muslims who participated in #CJP protests in Kolkata:
1) Irfan
2) Arshad
3) Moinuddin
4) Alamgir
5) Imran
6) Khalid
7) Zamir
8) Mohsin
9) Md. Afroz
10) MD.Azad
What is going to happen to them now ?
