The Telegraph is reporting that the Chagos Islands deal will be sent to Mauritius on Tuesday for final approval.

With the British taxpayer reportedly paying '£90 million each year for 99 years' - much of which will be paid upfront.

💥MET Police Officer Sentenced💥

Metropolitan Police Special Constable Hassnain Shahzad, 27, was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault on a 14-year- old child.

He’s received six months in prison for both offences to run concurrently, suspended for 18 months.

He’s been ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.

Shahzad will be on the sex offenders register for seven years with conditions.
