✨ I self-published an artist book! ✨
Across 272 pages, The NoGood Book brings together five years of illustration projects, outlining the backdrop for and context within which my work was created.
Out now — only available on https://t.co/lkI5du9MHq
I can’t believe it took 850 days, 74 tubes of soy ink, 15 colors, 660 masters, 690,000 sheets of paper, 3 fans, 2 riso printers, and 4 people to complete this great book. Last copy 👉 https://t.co/KPKy0U79hj
In other news, The NoGood Book made it into the Dense Discovery newsletter, and almost half of the 400 copies have found a new owner.
The Collectors Edition has sold out!

It took two years to complete The NoGood Book. This series chronicles how I ended up with 400 books stacked in many, many boxes scattered about my studio.
The first part is free to read for the time being ✌️

I made a time-lapse of the drawing process.
After the recording ended, I added some stickers to its casing, extended the smoke upwards and adjusted the colours for a more retro look.
This little guy was meant to become an icon for my second Patreon tier. Then I decided one tier was enough 😅
Now he’s the first Monthly Wallpaper: a monthly background for you to download and rock on your devices.

I launched a Patreon this month! It became my latest obsession, so I spent September figuring out how to make it part of my daily routine.
My first Monthly Recap covers that process, recent projects, promoting The NoGood Book and what’s next.

Drawing is hard. Every finished illustration starts with a bad sketch. There are no shortcuts.
I’m thinking about starting a Patreon where I’d share roughs, techniques, design decisions, and layered Photoshop files.
Yes! No?

There are probably 12 pages featuring Satoshi Radio work in the book, and one of my very first NoGood illustrations was a burning node for the SR Ring Of Fire (connecting Lightning nodes) back in 2021 🔥
It's been an absolute blast! 🙏
One of the most valuable things in running a community is that you meet talented, likeminded people.
Some of them become friends.
@nogood_studio is one of those people. He's one of the most talented artists I know.
I'm honored to be part of his magnum opus.
