Santa Cruz is completely at capacity! Our water is maxed out! Traffic is a nightmare!

Hooray! The UCSC Student Housing West has been delayed by a lawsuit! The East Meadow is spared for now from those horrendous students and the previous UCSC administration's flawed approach. The East Meadow isn't the right place for housing and nowhere else is either!
Great decision in the courts today! The impacts of people other than me and especially students must be analyzed for their negative impact on my quality of life.
It's official. The existence of humans — or specifically college students — must be studied under the California Environmental Quality Act before they're allowed, according to a state appellate court judge. https://t.co/xrmnC9yufA
Damn it all! I missed an opportunity to speak out against new development at a public comment. I can't believe the developer is increasing the amount of homes to 408 from 330! There shouldn't be any new homes built in Santa Cruz because none of it is affordable.
Am I still bitter about the "developers, real estate interests, and a few racists" buying the recall election and voting out Drew Glover? Absolutely! Because of this Santa Cruz is going to become "Silicon Beach" and will be filled with only second-home buyers from over the hill.
The Scotts Valley City Council on Wednesday voted against zoning changes that would have paved the way for up to 84 new homes at a contaminated former industrial site in the heart of the city. https://t.co/WACb4c3E6O
Verdict becoming clear, the outcome of last March 3rd's recall election is looking more and more like Santa Cruz is for sale. Follow the money. Are developers using the current pandemic to slam through development in Santa Cruz?

The thoughts that come to mind are questions. What about the water? Where will everyone park? What about the shadow impacts? What about the traffic? Will the vibrations from construction erode West Cliff? What about noise from delivery and garbage trucks?
UCSC growth will overwhelm our community! Go away students! If the UC must build, it shouldn't build anything to attract students until infrastructure to support it has been built. My traffic-free roads and quaint neighborhoods are more important than students' education!
FOUR-STORY KAISER MEDICAL FACILITY PROPOSED FOR SOQUEL AVENUE IN LIVE OAK WOULD REMOVE* 102 AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS
* it actually replaces an auto junkyard zoned RM-2 which could've been housing that we also could've opposed
What will be done about people living in permitting structures in the junkyard? The developer alone should figure it out as it is all their fault.
Also, where else will the city rezone for additional RM-2 capacity. Hopefully not near me or anywhere else!
