I've stopped using Twitter for weeks now. If you want to follow me, join me on the #fediverse (#mastodon currently, who knows in the future)

@jordansissel Canvas is OSS (Rails). Not sure if it's actually bad but I do have a lot of time spent in its guts fixing bugs. Users seemed happier than the in-house developed LMS it replaced.
@ThePolitiKat this is probably an impossible guess these days, but how far forward should I set a reminder to check final/certified results? Historically, has that been a couple of weeks? A month? There are a few props on the ballot I'm hopeful passed but I'll forget to check ๐
Time to replace my router with my new Linksys E8450 w/ OpenWRT running on it. For all 3 of you that care, various *.aether.earth services will be down for about an hour.

@LittleJoeTables you think it's more secure than push? Most push systems use cryptographic sigs to tie push event and user choice together. Seems very strong, math-wise. Or is it because of possible (probable?) UX fatigue?
@eevee I think another aspect of this is that every debugger looks/feels different so that makes it even more annoying to use each one.
I can imagine DAP making the UI/UX more consistent across languages, meaning it's more worthwhile to learn
@GrapheneOS I'm at a mental stumbling block, keeping me from using my Pixel 6: can you recommend a way to get various apps & associated data from my current phone (S9+, stock os v10) to the pixel? I feel like this should be simple but I'm just missing something.
