That’s just a hug they say
but they do not feel what happens inside me
when his arms close the distance between us
and the world suddenly softens

It feels like breathing without effort
like a place I did not know I was missing
finally remembering my name
His chest becomes a quiet answer
to questions I never learned how to ask

In that moment time loosens its grip
my thoughts slow down
and everything loud inside me learns silence
It is warmth without demand
safety without explanation

If that is just a hug
then maybe some hearts have never learned
how powerful simple things can be

You are the only thing that is good and beautiful, standing gently in the middle of all this noise. When everything feels heavy and broken
your presence reminds me that light still exists.

You do not erase the bad things but you soften their edges make them easier to breathe through make surviving feel less lonely.

In a world that keeps teaching me disappointment, you arrive like proof that hope was never foolish. You are not perfect or unreal, you are simply kind in a place that forgot how to be.

And somehow that is enough
