I gave up eventually and accepted a refund from @Argos_Online apparently they would prefer to put an @apple Studio in the bin than sell it to me because computer say no....
What a mess @Argos_Online customer service are. Yesterday I purchased a Mac Studio M1 Ultra for £2999 in the sale. Today I picked it up and was a Max not an Ultra. Now they won't let me keep the Max and refund the difference. The staff are rude and not at all logical
Watch out @Scion_living only accept unused wallpaper back for 30 days. So when your decorators are delayed by two weeks you can’t return the extra roll you purchased in case you needed it for pattern matching
@Scion_living I just got told I can’t return the left over roll of wall paper because it’s six weeks since ordering. The decorators were delayed and I Dont think 30 days is reasonable
@IKEAUKSupport do you have anyone who can actually support your home automation technology as the only trouble shooting seems to be we will send you another and hope that works

@linmeitalks That leaves £1500 are we comfortable, yes, I know how lucky we are as I remember my mum not having money for carpets or even food some times back in the 80s. But am I rich, it’s difficult, yes in some ways we are but we have 8 year old cars and don’t have lots of holidays
@linmeitalks Well, I am from a single parent family hold living in a council house. Now, 30 years later I earn a little more than £100k. Yes we have a nice house mortgage of £2k, council tax £300, gas and electric £450, water £150, food £800, insurance £150, petrol £200
I can't go on with this 'perm' job last week on Monday they added my bonus to the system - Friday it was an admin error and they took it away again. I am going to go back to contracting - outside IR35
I am working long hours in a job I don’t really enjoy to pay for a big house and to pay a huge mortgage. I do realise how lucky I am not having to worry hugely about paying the bills and lots of people are worse off than I am
So, 4 days before my 49 birthday I am thinking more and more about the future and what I want out of the future.
I guess it’s the classic midlife crisis. I don’t want the sports car or the new younger wife. It’s more fundamental than that.
