There is no “locker room” right now, so you aren’t at risk of losing anything. As you said, during you can also evaluate players & most importantly draft well.

And even that’s a guess, coaching has been so bad you see players like Dotson flourishing elsewhere, being top 5 at position.

We must fix foundation issues first above all, otherwise Williams or Fields or whoever is just Pickett again in a couple years.
