Officially accepted my admission to Harvard’s PhD program in Biological and Biomedical Sciences (With hopes to focus on Developmental and Regenerative Biology!)
“It is an absolute pleasure to engage in regeneration research in the Whited Lab. We place great importance in fostering a sense of community, collaboration, and mentorship within our lab," said Noah Lopez about working in the @JessLaMae Whited Lab. https://t.co/npXWkqV2HH
Did you bookmark our recent Slide-tags preprint but not get around to reading it? Very relatable
Fortunately for you, you can hear our very own @jacksonweir4 give a talk about it at Single Cell Genomics Day tomorrow at 1:40 ET!
Introducing Slide-tags: our new technology for truly single-cell, multi-modal spatial genomics!
Had a blast working alongside @AndyRusss, @Naeemnadaff, @macosko, @insitubiology, and the rest of our team on this project!

Congratulations to @HSCRB@BBS_Harvard grad student @nojaalopez, who just got the NSF GRFP! We're all so happy for you, and I can't wait to see where your PhD research takes you!
I am happy to announce that I was awarded the @NSF Graduate Research Fellowship today! Special thanks to my amazing PI @JessLaMae and the rest of the Whited Lab for their support and guidance!
"the secret scientists don't want you to know!!" Dude have you ever met a single scientist? My scientist friends are desperate for me to know about the changing mating habits of Brown marmorated stink bugs. They're screaming at the top of their lungs to tell you EVERYTHING.
Can our brain repair itself? This could happen in the future. Intl scientists led by #BGI used its Stereo-seq tech to map the world’s first spatiotemporal cell atlas of axolotl brain devt & regeneration, showing how an injured brain can heal itself. https://t.co/xqqOqmxzLr
I found out my university doesn’t subscribe to Nature Human Behaviour, so I asked why. Librarian: because when the journal started in 2017, it was nothing but “Human Behaviour” with the prefix “Nature”, while subscription costs were ten times higher than normal. 1/10 🧵
Week 1 of @drb_hms#DevBio bootcamp complete! Today was #zebrafish day (obviously the best class) - huge thanks to my teaching partner @WGoessling and to @sugden_wade for organizing an amazing video and in person lab session for our students! 🎣🤩🎉
The total area of solar panels it would take to power the world, Europe, and Germany. This map is from Nadine May’s thesis [source, read before commenting: https://t.co/xXjEoppaUj]
I am thrilled to announce I will be joining the Clinical Research Division @fredhutch as an Assistant Professor! It is surreal to say the Termini Lab will open in Spring of 2022. Thank you to those who supported me – I look forward to joining such a vibrant scientific community!
I hate that financial barriers prevent scientists from taking their dream jobs in expensive cities and wonder how trainees from disadvantaged backgrounds might be disproportionately impacted by these factors. I hope institutions consider this during the recruitment process...
