@The_Backward_Z@ericweinstein If Jordan Peterson was “smart guy dumb” then what exactly was he wrong about over his long and vocal career? Come on there must be something?
@Cdnbuddyguy@martianwyrdlord Probably half an office of late career white guys trying desperately to not get sent to the reeducation camps by the other half (you can imagine who)
I've got a book about lawmen and outlaws in BC and Yukon in the 1800's, and what's striking is that police had to work hard to catch criminals quickly because average people did not tolerate this shit. A group of guys would quickly get together, beat the person and tie them up for police, and the longer it took police to arrive the worse time the criminals would have. Average citizens would do this to murders and robbers. Now we don't dare ask someone to stop smoke fentanyl next to a baby in the bus stop.
Following my post outlining concerns that Dartford Grammar School for Girls has dropped from 52% white British to 7% in just ten years, the Labour leader of their council group has said I am "not welcome" in the town.
The Dartford Labour MP has described my concerns as "dangerous and divisive".
This is what happens.
Millions and millions of Brits are concerned about how their communities are rapidly changing.
Somebody openly discusses that, and the establishment attacks.
52% to 7% in ten years - with similar drops elsewhere.
This is an astonishing rate of change.
We are allowed to have concerns about how our communities are transforming.
I am not going to be bullied into silence.
The people of Dartford, and everywhere else, now have a political party willing to speak for them, and fight for them.
Restore Britain.
Carnegie Mellon is paying the price for a 2021 hire made amid the moral panic that followed George Floyd. The professor’s thin research record, narrow intellectual range, and political activism should have prompted serious scrutiny. In a freer intellectual climate, hiring committees might have said plainly that no appointment was warranted, let alone a tenure-track appointment involving decades of commitment by a distinguished university.
But professors who crossed DEI boundaries could pay a steep professional price: stalled promotion, difficulty publishing, ostracism, reputational destruction, and countless hours spent defending their motives rather than doing scholarship. That is how intellectual conformity takes hold—not necessarily through formal censorship (though there was plenty of that), but through the credible threat of professional punishment.
So the question for CMU is not simply what to do about one professor. It's whether the university has dismantled the machinery that makes honest judgment so difficult in the first place.
If working class patriots protesting against the invasion of our country have to wear face masks to protect their jobs, livelihoods and families? Then that is what must happen, and I support them in that.
They do not have expensive lawyers, they cannot afford to lose everything.
It's very easy for politicians to sit in expensive offices surrounded by wealth to label them 'disgusting', but these men are operating in an entirely different world to us. I understand that. I'm not pretending otherwise.
I don’t like face coverings, and I’m sure the vast majority of those protesting hate them too.
But we are not living in a perfect world.
Obviously.
Britain is a police state. If their identities are plastered all over social media, they will be hounded and harassed. By either the state or other malicious forces.
I am a politician, an MP, a party leader.
I expect it.
Those men and women fighting for a better Britain shouldn't have to cover their faces, but sadly that is a necessary evil in an increasingly uncertain and dangerous country.
I will make the country a promise tonight.
Any high-ranking public servant facilitating and deliberately enabling the invasion of Britain will be prosecuted by a Restore Britain Government.
They will go to prison.
Hundreds, if not thousands - this is their warning.
This has now gone too far. We have the entire establishment weaponising the British state to import these men. In the thousands and thousands.
Something has to be done, because this just cannot continue.
So back us. Give the threat weight. Put the fear of God into them.
Make them think twice. Force them to change course.
Provide Restore Britain the electoral support to make the threat count.
And when we win, they will go to prison.
Your vote, your backing, your support. It matters, and it can make a difference now. Not in 2029. But now.
Because this can't go on. It just can't.
Use Restore Britain as your voice, your weapon, your threat.
We will not let you down.
That is my promise to the British people.
Our speaker strategy completely exposed the biased, selective enforcement of the Canadian border.
We invited four international speakers. Two were publicly announced, two were kept secret.
None of these four could be reasonably deemed inadmissible by the state. They are not criminals, they are not terrorists, they are not spies. All were gainfully employed in their home countries with return travel booked.
The two speakers that were publicly announced, @cfdownes_ and @MartinSellner_, were faced with every challenge possible to enter the country.
The two that were kept secret, @lucyjaynewhite1 and @RealJarTaylor, had no issues entering the country.
All were attending the same event. All are controversial in the eyes of the Canadian government.
It's very clear that both the IRCC and the CBSA were weaponized by the government specifically in order to disrupt DOMCON26.
We have demonstrated that the state is perfectly capable of preventing people from coming to Canada, they just use those powers to oppress political dissidents instead of to protect Canadian society.
This is such a funny way to admit that the second we had any kind of non-European immigration at all, we banned it, demonstrating that obviously we didn’t have open borders because the people at the time were totally cool with unfettered immigration from around the world.
There were no laws against it because it just hadn’t been an issue.
Why do you think we excluded the Chinese? Do you think Congress sat around a map of the world and picked the Chinese out for exclusion and nobody else, because they were completely cool with immigration from anywhere in the world?
It’s because the Chinese were the first substantial non-European immigrant group!
My biggest problem with most forms of modern liberalism is that I reject that we’ve made substantial moral progress over the last few hundred years. You are not the moral superiors of your ancestors. I think, in fact, you’re just lucky to be alive in a time where it’s possible to express alternative moral positions, because of technological progress and improved material conditions. I think that you’d behave exactly as your ancestors did, given the same information and constraints under which they labored.
And I think, further, the outrageous narcissism and arrogance that results from believing that all human beings up until about five minutes ago were racist and sexist pieces of shit is really deranging people’s sense of society and of their place in it.
And this, ultimately, makes them their ancestors’ moral inferiors in most ways that matter.
