Theres this brain disease going around reactionary circles that America is a fundementally liberal society as if it wasn't founded as an aristocratic republic for whites only, seperating from England which at the time already had limited democratic franchise.
The errors of capitalism come from its nature. It is a system that produces positive externalities not in principle but incidentally. The primary function is to make those at the top more and more money, and it will keep perusing these greater and greater profits. To a degree, there is a genuine trickle down. Anyone with a brain can see this. However, at a certain point, a point which we have appeared to cross, the trickle down becomes less and less.
Now on the horizon is capitalism without the need for human input to make the machine run. This is truly the final form. Where we will have completely eliminated the mechanism by which those accidental gains for the middle and lower class are realized. We've pretended for so long that capitalism by its nature works for the little man. We've seen the results of it without asking how we got those results, and why.
WASP culture is American culture. It is the foundational core. You can have sub cultures on the peripheries (Western, Southern, etc) but if you lose that WASP core, it is no longer America.
