No actually thats not the main point actually. The main point is that Israel has always had the intention of taking over all the palestinian territories from the beginning. They have never left the palestinians to govern themselves. The ICJ even confirmed that Israel never relinquished control .Hamas was only left to manage local civilian affairs. Israel has always denied them sovereignty denied them the right to build an airport. denied them the right to build a cargo seaport, Completely blocked international trade or travel. Even controlled the population registry. They are not allowed to get a birth certificate , ID card or even Travel documents unless its approved by Israeli military. Israel controls gazas water pipelines electricity grid internet phone infrastructure currency, the dictate what goods, medicines, and food supplies could enter how is that withdrawing from Gaza

October 7 wouldnt have happened if in Feb 2023 Israel didnt launch an attack on Nablus and killed and injured hundreds. Maybe if in Feb 2023 Idf didnt back up settlers that torched dozens of homes and hundreds of cars and displace entire bedouin communities. Maybe if in April 2023 IDF didnt storm the Al Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan and fire stun grenades tear gas rubber bullets bash and detain palestinians trying to pray for ramadan. Maybe if in May 2023 israel didnt attack gaza in a surprise 5 day attack killing over 40 men women and children

2. you aware also aware that Hamas originally were an offshoot of Muslim Brotherhood that was focused only on education, preaching education , schools , mosques clinics etc. And israel was funding and was encouraging hamas to weaken the PLO. Then in 1987 created the miltant offshoot of muslim brotherhood because of the palestinian deaths which resulted in the first intifada and they had enough of watching their people being killed and then created hamas to counter the israeli attacks.
