One of the biggest mistakes we made early on as digital nomads was trying to live like we were on vacation every day.
Now, we slow travel. For every day of exploration, we give ourselves at least 3 days for work and routine.
Something we wish someone had told us when we first became digital nomads:
It’s not the big travel days that wear you down…it’s the small inconveniences adding up.
If your remote work setup isn’t comfortable, the digital nomad lifestyle won’t be sustainable!
Prioritize good chairs, tables, and lighting wherever you go 💡.
We’ve stayed in 80+ Airbnbs, here’s what we look for every time:
- Curtains, specifically in the bedrooms
- 10+ reviews
- AT LEAST 10mbps Wi-Fi
- Separate workspaces
- Close to gyms, grocery stores, and cafes
We’re a couple in our 30s and skipped the mortgage & 9–5 for more freedom, more experiences, and fewer regrets.
If you need a sign to do the same… let this be it.
