Once kids know and expect to have to go out and COMPETE and EARN everything in life that they want, that’s when you know they’re ready for the world and everything that comes with it. Entitlement puts a ceiling on potential, STRUGGLE enables the sky to truly be the limit.
Congratulations to George Jenkins and No Limits 18U Senior Kymber, on her official verbal commitment to further her academics and playing career to Florida College. We are all so proud of you! @FC_Athletics_@georgejenkinsHS@nolimitsvb#wearenolimits
There’s no doubt you have to be extremely talented and a hard worker in order to play D1.......
*AND D2, AND D3, AND NAIA AND JUCO.*
When it’s all over it won’t be the “division” you’ll appreciate the most, it’ll be the experiences shared with your teammates and coaches.
Simple changes can lead to big changes:
- come 15 minutes early
- stay 15 minutes late
- write down strengths and weaknesses
- get at the front of the line
- stretch
- drink more water
- watch one Youtube video a day
Commit to doing one of these next week and see if it helps.
The lessons learned through sport teach kids how to achieve in the real world. The good, the bad, and everything in between. It all prepares them for the path. That’s why failure & adversity are so critical to development. Don’t steal the struggle, teach them to fight through it.
