Today marks the start of a five-day study visit to the Kingdom of Morocco by delegates from 11 Smart Africa member states, under the Council of African IT Agencies (CAITA) — currently chaired by Morocco’s @ADD_MAROC.

Powered by the Smart Africa Trust Alliance (@satasmartafrica) and supported by @GovStackGlobal and @noradno, this visit aims to:
🔹 Exchange best practices in e-governance
🔹 Advance the Africa Data Exchange Guidelines
🔹 Strengthen bilateral and multilateral collaboration
🔹 Accelerate interoperability and Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) across the continent

This initiative reaffirms a clear message: South–South cooperation is a powerful engine for Africa’s digital future.

On the sidelines of the #TechPark inauguration, @CEOSmartAfrica met with the Prime Minister of Cabo Verde, H.E. @UlissesCorreiaanto, to explore the country’s expanding role within the Smart Africa Alliance.
Discussions focused on positioning the Tech Park as a continental innovation hub and a testing ground for African startups and entrepreneurs. They also addressed the ratification of the Smart Africa Protocol and the flagship project that Cabo Verde is set to champion. Exciting times lie ahead for digital innovation across the continent!
