@Tess_Machling @LeMoustier I think it has to do with the fact that the Roos Carr and others like it (e.g. Strata Florida) have perforated holes which allows for interchangeable parts whereas this is absent for Ballachulish, &missing post puberty features which is why it has been interpreted as a young girl

This is the first hoard of Iron Age gold coins to have been discovered in Wales.

The coin hoard comprising fifteen gold coins known as staters was discovered in Llangoed Community, Anglesey.

Pontypridd Museum will be open every Saturday 10-4, from this weekend (15th July 2023) until Christmas 2023.
You’ll be able to visit our temporary exhibitions, permanent displays and the newly reopened shop each Saturday.

#RomanSiteSaturday 1st c Roman theatre in the heart of Lisbon. Thought to be constructed during Augustus reign & renovated under Nero’s. It would have held ~5,000 spectators at the height of use. It fell into disuse around the 4th c, buried by an earthquake, & rediscov in 1960s
