While I did read your whole response and agreed with your summation, I can't get past your initial claim. It is exactly the intent behind liberal ideas that are the problem. Your repost of "if only the right people are in charge" is flat out stupid. The "Right People" are too busy creating their own lives and families to want to control the rest of us. Very suspicious of your moniker.
It’s not the intent behind liberal ideas that are the problem, it’s that Dems 1) take them too far, and 2) don’t execute well and end up causing even more wreckage.
Young adults get caught up in the ideas of what being a Democrat is advertised as, but then wake up a decade or two later and face the reality.
This New Democrat party is a whole different animal regardless. They’ve become a party of hate - of America, of white people, of half their fellow countrymen. If Trump said he loved dogs they’d hate them too.
🚨 JUST IN: Senate Majority Leader John Thune has reportedly REFUSED to commit to getting back on the SAVE America Act after budget and FISA are handled later this week
Thune says we may have "other pressing stuff" that's more important than election integrity, per Punchbowl
“If we don’t have other pressing stuff in front of us that has to get done...then we’ll see about getting that going."
WHAT ON EARTH?!
So the Senate could just keep POSTPONING this bill until it's too late.
Rep. Tim Burchett called it.
Let @BasedMikeLee surge support on the floor and just NUKE THE FILIBUSTER.
This clip of Bill made me think of Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman. He's trying to come to grips with changing times, but cant keep up. All because of ego, he can't divorce himself from a core of flawed ideology.
Bill Maher just went so hard against Islam, it left his guests in stunned silence.
It all started when Maher recalled how people overused the term “Islamophobia” after 9/11.
He says that moment was the “beginning” of a “wokeness” that forbade you to say this out loud:
“There is such a thing as Western civilization. Remember after 9/11, if you said ‘clash of civilizations’? It was the beginning of sort of that wokeness where, ‘Oh, don’t say that. That’s Islamophobia.’”
“No, it was a clash of civilizations. The civilizations are very different, and OURS IS BETTER!”
[Guests stare at each other in silence].
Maher continued: “And if you’re not clapping, spend a week in a Muslim capital, you wouldn’t last.”
Huh, color me naive, but I'd like to think that your photo represents two highly qualified astronauts that happen to be a black male and a white female. Your portrayal tells me that you don't think they were the best qualified, but were rather chosen for their race and sex. The whole concept of DEI is something very different that what you're portraying. The real world works on MERIT, not checking boxes of who you perceive as inferior to round out the team. I have to wonder what those two astronauts would say to you about your claim.
While I'm unfortunate enough to be represented by Sen Kelly, I understand what he was saying that others missed. It's the "like me." He would not want to be with 7 other opportunistic POSs that would be taking any of the spotlight from him.
Democrat Senator Mark Kelly slanders “white” service members.
KELLY: “The last thing I would want in a Space Shuttle crew would be seven white-guy U.S. navy test pilots like me.”
It's crazy to me how Robin Hood is now popularized as "stealing from the rich to give to the poor"
(Socialist messaging)
In reality, Robin Hood stole back the taxes that a cruel leader unjustly levied against the population
(Anti-socialist messaging)
Another White House bid? Because she wasn't humiliated enough when Trump won in a landslide, taking all swing states. Please run again.

I was raised to hate myself. Throughout my life, I've tried different therapies to overcome that beaten in programming of inferiority. Nothing helped. Fortunately, I finding that approaching 70 combined with X has helped me. Long story short, X shows me daily that me that as flawed as I may be, I'm not this like this POS or the many other volunteers that pop up.
Netanyahu has caused a generational collapse of US support for Israel. I say this as a lifelong supporter of Israel who has long feared Netanyahu’s maximalist—and ahistorical—view of geopolitical realities in the Middle East would cause a devastating blowback for Israel.
It has.
Along side the recent "revelations of the Holy See" and this clown, I can only come to one conclusion - this is what happens to peoples' brains when they have to suffer the unending humiliation of not being able to field a national sports team worthy of any merit. This is how civilizations collapse.
John Mearsheimer, University of Chicago professor, says the U.S. “cannot win a war of attrition” with Iran, warning the Navy risks being sunk by Iranian missiles and drones in the Strait of Hormuz, citing reports that all 13 U.S. bases in the region have been bombed or heavily damaged, and noting only about 7,000 combat troops are available for a ground war
I know, just waiting for the "America's chickens have come home to roost" line. F'ing Chicago, is it the water or just having to be associated with loser baseball teams?
@Pontifex I get it, spreading the gospel for peoples eternal salvation is hard, so lets just skip that and spread the gospel of Envy. Thanks, but no thanks.
You are either grossly misinformed or a liar. When SF city govt was approached by liberals who cared about the soaring HIV infections in the 70s, they were told to piss off, the good ties were going to keep on rolling. It's so easy to say stupid shit, but its not okay to kill people with same stupid rhetoric.
Bathhouses have historically been important community and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ neighbors. We also know from cities like San Francisco that these spaces can advance health equity and increase access to sexual healthcare.

The "not guilty by reason of insanity" - invented by that great progressive Clarence Darrow" is THE greatest tragedy of US and to become universal law. It always should have been "guilty by reason of insanity". If the insanity was cured, then the criminal would face the reckoning of their crime. Paraphrasing from Heinlein, hopefully accurately enough. The end result is that criminal would never have the chance to force themselves on society.
The whole idea of "incompetent to stand trial" is fucking nonsense. If you're too "incompetent" to understand that you shouldn't butcher an innocent woman on the train, you should die. Period. Arrest, convict, execute. You are not fit to be a part of human society. How many more innocent people must we sacrifice for the sake of coddling and babying the absolute scum of the Earth? Our ancestors had it right. They would have had this guy hanging from the gallows an hour after conviction. The old system of justice was light years better than this insane bullshit we're dealing with now.

Yes this really happened…..
On March 24, 2001… a fastball from Randy Johnson hit a mourning dove mid-flight and it literally exploded before reaching home plate.
One pitch. One bird. One of the strangest moments in sports history.
Still feels unreal 25 years later. Does anyone remember?
Hello Senator Thune,
Wow. Just wow.
Democrats didn't block Trump's nominees, @SenateGOP did. You had the majority. You failed.
Republicans rejected Trump's picks. That's not on Democrats. We aren't Marxists; we believe in historical fact. And the fact is, you torpedoed @EagleEdMartin over manufactured outrage about January 6, while ignoring actual violence your constituents face.
You don't get to revise the record. You own this.
You talk about being the party of personal accountability. Stop attending lobbyist steak dinners and start showing it.
