@TheNaveena I’d appreciate a post explaining the scientific formula our government uses to decide where a Police Commissionerate is needed. Is it population, crime rate, industrial activity, or public safety needs? Or is the primary criterion simply how much political hype can be generated?
Hyderabad had no business becoming this big.
Mumbai had old money, finance and a massive commercial head start.
Chennai had industry, the coast and generations of established business families.
Kolkata had deep industrial and commercial legacy.
Delhi had the power of being the national capital.
Hyderabad had to build its modern economy almost from scratch.
Pharma.
IT.
Startups.
Real estate.
GCCs.
Aerospace.
Much of today’s wealth here is first-generation wealth.
People came from small towns.
Worked.
Built companies.
Bought land.
Created jobs.
Took risks.
And transformed an entire city within one generation.
Hyderabad’s greatest natural resource may simply be this:
the hunger to build.
And the crazy part?
The city just got started.
Thanks for answering your own question why India is not allowing Starlink internet. Because we don’t want the Internet in India to be controlled by some Potus or Elon.
#HydMetro 🚉 Been 5 years since I started this page, back then if you told me by 2026 we'd still be w/o
> 6-coach trains
> Green Line completion
> P2 expansion (& planning for P3)
I’d have called you crazy. Thanks to the lot of BRS, Congress & BJP (ft. L&T), who all played a part in this neglect! 👏
The city's infra will keep heading to the gutter!
Booking an international flight on your phone while lying sideways in bed is psychotic behaviour. That is a computer activity that requires complete silence

⚠️ IF THAT FLYDUBAI PLANE HAD CRASHED…
1️⃣ The Indian pilot would have been blamed instantly.
2️⃣ Racists would have flooded social media with “Indian pilots” narratives before investigators even reached the wreckage.
3️⃣ Pakistani troll accounts would have amplified it, turning a tragedy into another India-bashing opportunity.
4️⃣ AI171 and the Phuket incidents would have been dragged in as evidence of a “pattern of behaviour” of Indian pilots.
5️⃣ Every unrelated Indian aviation incident would suddenly have become part of a narrative about supposedly “unsafe Indian pilots”.
6️⃣ Meanwhile, Oman’s lack of any meaningful history of aviation terrorism would have been used to bolster the India pilot angle.
7️⃣ If Indian pilot Capt Smit hadn’t survived & fought back to save the plane, the world would have got an entirely different story.
