Hi, we're Allan & Kat, a full-time digital nomad couple sharing slow travel guides, local experiences and budget travel tips to help you travel longer & deeper.
Ha Long Bay was a place that we almost avoided because we had heard many negative reviews. But we ended up enjoying it, with mixed feelings. Anyone else feel the same? https://t.co/EIjpSz3rNH
We loved Hanoi but I know the noise and chaos would be too much for many people. Heres our thoughts on the pros and cons of visiting https://t.co/krkuJYtgZV
Phong Nha was one of our surprise highlights of Vietnam. We loved cruising the beautiful, jungle-covered mountains on our scooter. Its a must visit while you are in Vietnam https://t.co/zNzfiDVRJg
Our next newsletter "Say adios to expensive Airbnbs" is coming Tuesday. Subscribe to get it as we give you all the deets about how we stay 1 month in Barcelona for free! ๐ค

@Rob_FitLegacy You know intestinal permeability is real, so you know leaky gut is real because it is just two names for the same thing. Who cares whether it occurs before or after a condition, it is a problem. Denying that it is real when you give health advice is absurd
Hoi An was one of our favourite places to stay as digital nomads. Da Nang was also great but for us not as good. Here we compare how it is to live in both. https://t.co/T2jT05Pt5Y
We spent a week in Ninh Binh last year. It is a place full of natural beauty. But also has problems with over tourism. It is still a great place to visit however and here is all our thoughts on how to enjoy your time there https://t.co/u61kYeCb16
We recently spend 12 days in the Tioman Islands in Malaysia. It was one of the few islands in South East Asia we have visited where nature is still thriving. Lots of colourful coral and thick green jungle. We absolutely loved it there and are working on an article about it soon
Hoi An, Vietnam is more than lanterns & yellow walls ๐
We spent 1 month here and found 15 fun & unique things to do โ from coconut basket boat rides to local food tours.
If Hoi An hasnโt been on your radar, itโs time to add it to your bucket list!

We have seen lots of tuk tuks on our travels but not these bicycle tourist taxis in Hoi An, Vietnam!
They look like oversizes baby strollers to us - anyone else thinking the same? ๐คญ
Can't believe it took us 3 weeks before we rented a motorbike in Vietnam! It's the perfect country to explore on a 2-wheeler! ๐ต
Fun fact: every time we rented one we got it nearly empty. So head to the next gas station asap and it's no problem to return it empty too!
Stepping into the busy streets of Hoi An โจ most travelers only stay for 1-2 nights but we think it deserves longer! We stayed 1 months as digital nomads and loved it - so much to do, see and eat ๐
Need a warm and cozy escape from the cold and rain? ๐ง๏ธWe recently visited Amsterdam and listed our favorite cafes there! โ๏ธ It's surprising how many great coffee roasters are in town, so make sure to grab a specialty coffee and a typical Dutch pasty! ๐ฅฎhttps://t.co/RYlC2VA3WG
@AshleeFechino When you get the chance, definitely try some different coffees! Some are very sweet (condensed milk + sugar) so not that healthy but the straight black coffees are good quality - Vietnam is the second biggest producer of coffee beans in the world!
@RyanBiddulph Thanks, it's so much fun going to different cafes and sampling all the coffee. Not a big fan of condensed milk generally but it's the secret sauce in the coffees here ;)
