@IHateSoccerPod You can’t just “play like Spain” I see alll these youth coaches say “ yeah-that’s what I want… smart short passing…. Head up …. Move off the ball…that is how I coach.” No you don’t! Your sessions have lines, drills and you select on athletes. Actions > words.

Global ⚽️ stars have been a hit with younger Americans for years- already well ahead of hockey - baseball.

@PleiadesAutumn @voiceofD It isn’t about MLS. It is about ⚽️. Are you actually thinking hockey has been ahead of soccer? It isn’t even close and has not been for some time. MLS only accounts for 10% of ⚽️ fandom in 🇺🇸. The totality of all the leagues and competitions 🇺🇸 consumes in ⚽️ has been very high.

@RealSkipBayless 🇺🇸 franchise leagues must constantly change rules for entertainment which works for fans that aren’t really passionate about the sport. ⚽️ is different because it doesn’t need to create more offense and it is still number 1 by far. Image the nba with no 3 point line or shot clock

Mexican league for example get huge ratings in California and Texas- often higher than any sport outside nfl
