SITE VISIT RECAP | Today, the Infrastructure South Africa team visited the Impofu Wind Farm Cluster as part of Impact Month, gaining firsthand insight into the progress of this catalytic renewable energy project.
The visit highlighted how Infrastructure South Africa supports strategic projects by helping to unblock critical implementation challenges. Following the granting of Strategic Integrated Project (SIP) status, the SIP Energy Team worked closely with stakeholders to resolve key servitude constraints that could have impacted project delivery.
To date, all four (4) priority servitudes have been executed and successfully registered. These interventions have supported progress on the transmission infrastructure required to connect the Impofu Wind Farm Cluster to the grid, demonstrating the value of coordinated project facilitation in accelerating infrastructure delivery.
