@barbarafriesen @LeyneLes The only reason useless legal referrals were required by lawyers is that ICBC required each side to obtain medical evidence and settled at the last minute before court. They wasted so much money treating every claim as fraudulent rather than using logic.

What happens when a foreigner/tourists gets hit since they've never entered into a contract with ICBC and never waived their right to sue? It sounds like ICBC is quietly settling those out of the media...
