Good read. This is the kind of serious immigration conversation America needs: secure the border, enforce the law, and still treat people with dignity.
The infamous cipher is finally out, and it confirms what many Pakistani Americans have been saying for years: serious questions remain about U.S. pressure, Pakistan’s internal power politics, and the removal of an elected prime minister.
For years, Pakistani Americans have worked to change the narrative in Washington. The message was simple: Imran Khan was not a threat to American interests. Supporting democracy, rule of law, civilian supremacy, and free and fair elections in Pakistan is not anti-America. It is in America’s long-term interest.
During the 2024 U.S. presidential election, many in the diaspora assessed that the post-Biden era and a new Trump era could bring a change in policy toward Pakistan’s hybrid military-backed regime. Many voted, donated, organized, and engaged with full energy, hoping that an America First foreign policy would also mean standing against failed policies of backing military establishments over the will of the people.
But it turned out the other way. Pakistan’s military establishment appears to have built close ties in Washington, while millions of Pakistanis are still waiting for basic democracy, rule of law, and the right to choose their own leaders.
Our position remains simple: America’s interest in that region is not served by ignoring the will of 240 million people. Stability built through suppression is not real stability. Long-term partnership should be built with the people of Pakistan, not just powerful men in uniform.
If America can speak about the will of the people in Iran, Venezuela, Ukraine, and elsewhere, then we should apply the same standard to Pakistan.
America First should not mean generals first.
America First should mean America’s long-term interest and that interest is best served when we stand with democracy, human dignity, rule of law, and the people’s right to choose their own leadership.
Pakistan does not need foreign interference. Pakistan needs free elections, civilian supremacy, and respect for the people’s mandate.
That is not anti-America. That is pro-democracy, pro-stability, and in the long-term interest of both America and Pakistan.
Once again, real democracy lost and the people of Pakistan paid the price.
I won’t stand with anyone who targets people based on religion period.
I’m here for principles, not blind loyalty to any party. If that makes people uncomfortable, so be it.

They tried to silence me, but I stood tall.
I'm not driven by anger, but by hope for working families, small businesses, and parents who want the best for their children.
Because real leadership isn’t about fear it’s about having principles, integrity, and courage to do what’s right.

Heartbroken and outraged. Charlie was a son, a father, a husband, and a good man whose life was stolen far too soon. His killing is senseless and devastating. No words can capture the pain of this loss. May justice be served, and may he rest in eternal peace. 🕊️💔😭

I had the pleasure of meeting Khan Junaid, GOP candidate for Virginia House of Delegates in District 27 (Sterling to Dulles South of Loudoun County ).
As immigrants, we both cherish the American Dream—not just for ourselves, but for our children. Junaid stands for common sense: parental rights, girls’ sports, family values, and building a stronger economy for everyone.
Most importantly, Junaid is firmly pro-Constitution. Having spoken out against military dictatorship in Pakistan and championed democracy, he knows firsthand the priceless value of our God-given, inalienable rights.
Early voting begins September 19th. Let’s send Junaid to Richmond!
In what community leaders are describing as an unprecedented political move, the American Hindu Coalition (AHC) has endorsed Junaid Khan, a Pakistani American cybersecurity expert contesting for the Virginia House of Delegates from District 27.

Nuestros hijos. Nuestras escuelas. Nuestro futuro. Me postulo por ellos.
Hola, soy Junaid Khan, vecino, padre y orgulloso virginiano.
