SO, i guess we are finally, gradually giving up on the fight to end the ongoing genocide against our Christian brothers and sisters in parts of Nigeria...

JUST last night, at least 23 people were reportedly killed in Mangu, Plateau State, Nigeria. 23 people!

This has since become a near daily affair, and with the political campaign season on us, the perpetrators of these genocidal massacres, who have been seeking a perfect distraction, must be throwing a party right now.

From the recent unprovoked outbursts of that Kano cleric, Jingir, it's become clear what the agenda is - kill as many Christians as possible to attain a slight balance or shortfall in Christian population, so Islamization is justified. This is no longer hidden, given that Jingir, from his statement sounded very worried by the fact that there are more Christians in Nigeria than Muslims.

There are Muslim nations where decency rules; Where Christians and Muslims live together in absolute unity; Where no aspect of life is interrupted by what you call sharia today; Where the likes of Jingir and Gumi will never be allowed to speak, let alone live, thrive and wield influence. But here we are.

What you see happening in Nigeria is beyond religious extremism. It's a hybrid politically motivated ethnic cleansing, wrapped in religious extremism, but bearing all the trappings of the sadistic ideological conquests of the barbarous ages.

We've all got to wake up at some point or stay asleep forever.

Catholic priest Rev. Fr. Samuel Oyetoro was found murdered in Kogi State, Nigeria, after reportedly being attacked with a machete. His body was discovered by the roadside with severe wounds to the head.

He served at St. Paul’s Parish.

His killing comes amid Nigeria’s ongoing security crisis, with Christian communities facing repeated attacks from Islamist terrorists and armed militias. More than 1,000 Christians have reportedly been killed in Nigeria so far this year.

Islamic extremists attacked the predominantly Christian village of Naridon in Kaduna State, Nigeria, killing at least 30 people, including eight children.

The attackers stormed the village late on July 26, opening fire on residents inside their homes and setting houses ablaze as families fled into nearby fields and bushes.

Community search teams continued recovering bodies from homes, farmland, and surrounding bushland, while several people remained missing.

Local officials and residents identified the attackers as Islamist Fulani militias.

11 Christians, including children, were killed in the same area just last month.

More than two dozen Christians have been murdered by jihadists in a village in Kaduna State, Nigeria.

A member of a nearby community said:

...he had been awakened by three hours of gunfire, noting that the military, which Kim said had been "stationed mere feet away," did not intervene.

His sources said security did not arrive at the "pure Christian community" until after the killing had stopped and that a confrontation between survivors and security forces broke out over the investigation until local clergy stepped in to mediate the conflict.

Proper steps were then taken to prepare the victims for burial.
