Facebook Marketplace/Ebay listings.

I love the onset of fall. The air turns from still and humid - to breezy with an insinuation of cold - a coming dark rain. It feels invigorating. It’s a time of human creativity that parallels the turning of the leaves - a time to feel alive.
Sale #4 complete:
Flyers Jersey - $40 (FB marketplace)
Rolling into the holiday weekend at $270 total.
My initial $1k goal feels very attainable but it could just be beginners luck, we shall see.

Hunter S. Thompson refused to come to the studio.
The only way Conan could get him on the show was to meet him on a farm in upstate New York. To shoot guns. And drink hard liquor.
They set up a full bar in a field. A bartender in a tuxedo handed Hunter a shotgun he’d never fired. Then an M60. They blew apart stuffed animals and a Bill Buckner target while Conan tried to look like this was a normal interview.
Hunter howled. Conan looked like he might not make it home.
This is still the least talk-show interview ever done on a talk show.
Genius making Conan come to him, or just the most dangerous booking in late-night history?
Everyone I truly admire is just going for it. There is no gap between the things they say they’re going to do and the things they do. They just do. Close the gap. The wider that space is, the less trust you have. Of course you don’t believe yourself. Of course others don’t believe you. You’re not doing anything. Most people don’t actually do anything. Do something. Be decisive. Take action. Quit worrying so much about making the right decision. Make the decision right. Watch the world open up for you. See where it takes you. You might not go where you thought you would.
But at least you’re going.
What the personal development gurus don’t tell you is that there are diminishing returns
Eventually you understand yourself enough, know what you want, and know what it takes to get there
Beyond that, endlessly working on yourself becomes another way to avoid living and doing. Forget therapists, self help books, podcasts, and the rest of the BS
Figure out the few things that matter for you/your life/your family, execute, then have an honest convo with yourself every few months about where you’re at and repeat
That’s it
Idiot in motion > genius at rest - that is the matra
I have the motivation for whatever reason and so I'm going to start testing out ideas right now.
Today.
Will report back.
Never had the “Sunday scaries.” Not once in my entire career.
A few months ago that changed. I still won’t call them that because it’s such a lame term. Not sure what it is I have but Sundays are no longer relaxing.
Sundays are now filled with dread and low grade depression.
I think that’s a sign. I need to start a business.
