@GcThaStatMan@GeorgeintheCar1@jakeissenberg None of the stats here are matchup-based metrics. They don't look at a player's performance against specific opponents instead they use lineup/on-off information to estimate how much a player contributes to team performance while accounting for the other players on the court
@antP5435@LukeGlanton95 You are missing the point once again that it is situation and he is making $9 million a year. Lmfao why do you think the Bills Chiefs and Ravens have all struggled to get weapons for their QBs?
@GcThaStatMan@GeorgeintheCar1@jakeissenberg Better catch and shoot player, better defender, better playmaker, better connector all around. Isn’t going to take the ball out of Tatum’s hands and be a negative on the court
@antP5435@LukeGlanton95 It’s a debate about which QB situation is the best, and the Patriots just had a guy finish second in MVP while making nine million dollars. This can’t be that hard to understand lmfao
@BallUpTopBrad@makingtronics They brought in another excellent off-ball player who, by all metrics, fits the Jayson Tatum significantly better than Jaylen Brown. This isn’t NBA 2K. You can’t just put a bunch of 90 overalls together and expect a fit, especially with the aprons.
@BallUpTopBrad@makingtronics Despite the fact that Tatum is one of the best off-ball player in the league, he can’t fit with Jaylen Brown because not only does he need the ball in his hands to be successful, he is completely useless without the ball in his hands
