Since losing Brian Burns in Week 3, the Giants have blitzed on 56% of their dropbacks which is 2nd highest behind the Vikings.

When blitzed, C.J. Stroud is averaging 8.3 YPA (10th-most) and a 23.7% explosive play rate (3rd-most)

Disappointing to not have Blake Fisher this week after a great week of jumbo vs the Jaguars.

Likely means that Braden Smith will be active as the backup tackle and interested to see if he plays a role in jumbo packages. Or if Houston leans into more 12/13 with their TE depth.

Big fan of the Rockets 51 Inverted PNR action here with Sheppard & Sengun.

Rockets' offense was able to operate smoothly yesterday with more off-ball action and fewer turnovers with FVV back yesterday.

Big test tomorrow vs San Antonio.

Trent Brown has been the X-Factor for the Texans OL so far this year and as he has started to play better, so has the unit.

Weeks 1-3: 10.7% Pressure Rate + 2 Sacks on Pure Dropbacks

Weeks 4-6: 7.7% Pressure Rate + 1 Sack

Ingram & Brown have both been better in pass pro which has helped the unit improve over the last few weeks.

Nick Caley has done a great job making the Texans offense an offense built towards their players instead of stuck in a scheme coming from New England.

Lots of things he does offensively that you don’t necessarily find with the Rams or Patriots.

I thought Henry To’oTo’o had a nice day vs the Jaguars and excited to see what else he will bring to the defense in the coming weeks.

He played some of his best football in the last postseason for Houston and continues to improve at the WILL spot.

The defense certainly missed him in his time out dealing with his shoulder injury.

C.J. Stroud is playing with excellent timing right now and is especially showing trust in Nico Collins to win in man coverage here.

Collins could definitely be called for an OPI here, but no flag and a huge 3rd & long conversion for the offense late in the 4th.

Nick Caley said he has always been had good faith in Jaylin Noel and he is proud of how he has built off his success.

He said Noel took a huge step in the spring but had to build back up after dealing with his injuries in camp.

Matt Burke says the Texans have a lot of trust in M.J. Stewart and he did a great job filling in for Reed Blankenship.
