Berlin-based @nomosenergy has raised €20 million led by Index Ventures.

The round was oversubscribed and included Bolt CEO Markus Villig, UiPath founder and CEO Daniel Dines, and tesonet co-founder Tomas Okmanas among its investors.

Nomos lets heat pump and solar installers become licensed electricity retailers under their own brand, acting as the regulated power company behind them.

The company was founded in 2023 by @gerbes_stefan and @nils_bitzer_.

The new funding, together with Nomos's earlier €1.9 million pre-seed round, brings its total funding to around €22 million, which will be used to launch products, hire, and expand across Europe.
