How much does one get paid for breastfeeding? How much do they contribute by cleaning the house and cooking? The argument will be framed as this “according to this versus this of 2026, she is entitled to 20% because she didn’t have an income and was supported by the husband” it’s called precedent. All those things you are saying do not bring income, men have been arguing this for eons. This judgement makes this argument tangible now but you seem to know the law so I will rest my case.
@LloydMsipa On the other side this case also does the same to the housewives who any other time would be entitled to 50% now there is a formula to determine who did what and it ain’t going to be pretty.
@Ramsey1798@daddyhope Before this judgement the issue was the assets would be divided equally no matter who’s sweat it was but now most women will face that very judgement that some of them have celebrated.
@daddyhope I think the precedent will hit women more than the men. Most times the woman is the one that takes the role of taking care of the house and has no direct income.
Even the President addressed the issue that’s why he brought Minister Of Finance in the room and he even mentioned Financial Security. He is addressing that question that got you making a fool of yourself. I have no skin in the game with Implats but the question of financial security was important and is being addressed by the highest office in the country.
It’s not about Implats and their failure to build a smelter. All exporters are affected by this thing even the locals “vene” you chose to make it about a single company. I can bet you that no one will fund that smelter as long as these things remain in their play. Fixing this problem is not for Implats but for the whole country to benefit. These are the reasons most projects do not reach financial close. It does not one any good when you attack people that have genuine concerns because you feel some type of way and make things about borders and politics.
What minerals do “you” have and who says anything about giving minerals for free. The issue is that these companies local and foreign are allowed to mine and when they export they are not getting the potion that is held by the government. This is not smearing this is what is happening. It’s not a political statement it’s the reality which must be addressed. I don’t think you’ve ever run a business or worked a day in your life.
This exact language is why it’s difficult to raise money for Zimbabwe projects and why funders charge a premium because of sovereign risk. Our sovereignty is not shown by not paying what we owe it’s actually the opposite. If you try to raise capital this is what all in the capital markets talk about and during these bilateral talks is when these issues must be resolved. This is the right platform for him to say and rightfully so it’s his line ministry. You are misplacing your attack there.
Under the Income Tax Act we have Taxable Donations and Exempt Donations. On CGT we have something called deemed disposal or sale, this means if you donate a house you will pay CGT based on the open-
market value at the time of donation. VAT on donations… should I keep going. PLEASE DESIST FROM GIVING PEOPLE FINANCIAL ADVISE YOU WILL GET PEOPLE BROKE OR ARRESTED.
@emmanuelmapamba@waltermzembi Unfortunately that’s not how tax works. It’s considered income to the recipient. Tax is personal so to speak. A tax paying citizen pays another person that person is liable for tax when they receive.
To determine if this was a racist stance by the police what race was the victim and the police officers? If they were the same race and these were leftists as you allege, then this is based on other reasons but racism. The second part of the issue is that if the reason he ended up being killed was racism or an accusation of racism, what does bringing the killing of another person who was black do to the cause. Who do you expect to be outraged when the cause you are advocating for is mainly being pushed by people that push racist agendas. Stop using this poor man’s death for your nefarious agendas.
You’re choosing to see double standards where they don’t exist. It’s tragic what happened to both individuals but not all killings are race based. When George was killed there were so many things that were happening and all were being done to black people and racial profiling was out of hand and the outrage was not just his killing but also events leading up to his death which became the tipping point. In trying to get across the issue of Henry why do you have to bring about the issue of George. There is no outright outrage because the issues are not the same and though both tragic the people that are advocating for people to pay attention to Henry Nowak are the same people that say my race is inferior.
The standard Starlink kit is about R5000 and monthly subscription is R1270. Basing on other African countries. How is this a product for the poor. It’s a good product but don’t give it some kind of messiah aura it’s just another internet connection product and unfortunately the poor are not the focus when it comes to pricing. The product is good let’s not exaggerate the effects.
