Tell me why my homie had a loyal, fine, down-for-him girl at home… the kind that actually prays for you, checks on you, and holds you down when life gets messy… and still went out cheating with someone who brought nothing but chaos. It didn’t make sense at first. Everybody kept asking what he was thinking, like maybe he found something better. But the truth is, it was never about better. It was about ease. With the other girl, there were no expectations, no pressure to grow up, no accountability. Just vibes, attention, and zero responsibility.
Tell me why the one who loved him right is the one he took for granted… while the one who didn’t care like that is the one he kept running to. Because with a good woman, he had to actually be a good man. He had to show up, be consistent, be honest. And he wasn’t ready for that. So he chose the situation where he could be selfish and still be accepted. And by the time he realized what he lost, the girl who was really for him had already walked away… for good.
he mized me amd pretended not to know me and thank God b/c i was scared and had a huge lump in my throat. i didn't really care about confronting him b/c my life was ruined already by the stunt he pulled with his friend.
that last repost reminds me of what happened to me many years ago and it still bothers. this happened to me probably my 1st month of high school (grade 8) and it would go on to change my entire high school career and confidence.
no one cared to ask or listen to my side of the story except my friend Sizwe of course and he believed me b/c we were very close. mind you, i'm referring to him as boy b/c i didn't even know his name. i would then go on to see this boy on the bus on my way home like a week later
My fellow female doctor was harassed and assaulted by our senior consultant. When she brought it up, everyone called her crazy, and the senior consultant claimed that she was the one trying to hit on him because he is rich and called her a home wrecker (he was married). Her fiancé worked in the same hospital, and he broke off the engagement. She lost her job. She was a brilliant doctor, but rumors spread and she couldn’t find a job anywhere else. Her family abandoned her due to defamation. She couldn’t handle the stress and tried to take her life. After a few months, she was admitted to an asylum, and her life was completely ruined. The fact that women can have a false rumour about them and their whole career can be destroyed, while men can have a whole ass r@pe allegations and still be the president of US…I never want to hear anyone argue that GENDER INEQUALITY doesn’t exist.
They watched you go through your humiliations publicly, so now they get to watch you be happy. You deserve everything that’s coming to you. Relax and enjoy it. You earned it.
“I lost 90% of my income as soon as I started talking about Palestine online, 90% contracts that were signed, cancelled!..”
“We're in a place where we cannot speak about a genocide that is happening because we cannot afford to lose our job..”
