A child can believe in Santa Claus, monsters under the bed, or imaginary friends because children naturally rely on trusted adults to explain the world.

That dependence is exactly why we should be cautious about making life-altering decisions during the earliest years of development.

Children deserve time to grow, explore, and mature without being placed on a path they may not fully understand.
