The payment of subminimum wage to people with disabilities has been going on since 1938 when the Fair Labor Standards Act Section 14 c was enacted. It is time to STOP!!! We are in the 21st Century!
"Our nation’s commitment to end discrimination against people with disabilities must include ending the payment of subminimum wages, otherwise it is nothing more than a hollow platitude."

@GHMansfield People with disabilities are part of the human capital of talent in the United States. It is not about our disability, it is about societal attitudes that impact negative impressions and lower expectation of our abilities. We are not our disability!
Great Resource for Nurses with Disabilities planning to apply for employment or for those wanting to return to work. The emphasis is on your skills, not your disability!
