Last year, Cleo and Marceau were the first ballkids in wheelchairs. This year, Manon and Melvil have continued this new inclusive tradition inside the "Ballos" squad 🤝

Today, we honour the memory of children whose lives were taken by Russia’s aggression.
For more than 12 years, Ukrainian children have suffered from Russia’s war against Ukraine. Hundreds have been killed in Russian strikes and shelling. Thousands more have been affected by Russia’s occupation, or illegally deported and forcibly transferred by Russia.
Russia has killed at least 707 Ukrainian children, injured 2,548, and left 2,317 missing. Due to the temporary occupation and ongoing hostilities, the full scale of Russia’s crimes against Ukrainian children remains unknown.
Today, our thoughts are with the parents, families, and loved ones who have lost their children because of Russia’s aggression.
Every young life cut short leaves a wound that will never fully heal. Russia must be held accountable for the killings, terror, and suffering it continues to inflict on Ukraine and its people.
❝Russia is terrorising the population. Our resolve in defending ourselves and continuing to support Ukraine in the face of this threat is unshaken.❞
— @SecGenNATO visits Ukraine 🇺🇦 with the North Atlantic Council
Yesterday, and from just one massive attack, Russia killed 23 people in our country, including children. The Russians used a large number of drones – more than 650 during the night and around 100 more during the day. But the most dangerous threat is, of course, missiles.
Russia has the capacity to produce around 120 ballistic missiles every month. And that is just ballistic missiles. Russia also produces other types of missiles. This means that every month they can launch several large-scale massive attacks on top of the constant missile terror they already carry out.
It's clear that this is the greatest threat we face right now.
From an address to the participants of the NATO–Ukraine Council meeting in Kyiv (1/5).
We have intel indicating that Russia is preparing a new massive attack. Please pay attention to air raid alerts and stay safe.
Air defense and the continued need to help Ukraine protect its skies are our key priorities. I am grateful to every partner, every leader, and every country that is ready to help and that implements our arrangements in full.
The PURL initiative must work. This concerns both the United States and Europe. We are pooling funds from our European partners and other friends to purchase missiles, including for Patriot systems. Sufficient supplies depend on America, and we hope that Ukraine will be heard.
For centuries, we have been captivated by its pattern. But now it is our turn to create the pattern ourselves – through our lives, our fight, and every new step we take.
Every day, Ukrainians embroider it with their own hands – defending what they hold dear, rebuilding what has been destroyed, healing wounds, teaching children, and continuing to learn themselves. We preserve our memory and build the future.
Happy Vyshyvanka Day, Ukraine! Celebrating the destiny we embroider in independence!
@RafaelNadal experienced pretty harsh training regimes with his uncle Toni as a young player, but he says “for me, it worked very well… I was not always perfect. He was not always perfect, of course, but he always tried to do things in the best interest of myself.”
