Ah shit here we go again

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

Thesis is done. I am a shell of a man.

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

3 days to deliver my thesis. A few corrections still pending. Today, my supervisor cancels all meetings because he's going to a conference and tells me to use AI to rewrite the abstract. Living 😍😍

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

I really, really miss building model kits :( Can't wait to be done with my thesis and get back to playing with my little guys

[Mini Modu @MinModulation]

The idea that a "prompt" can perfectly describe a visual image, or an image can perfectly portray a written word, is insanity. And the same goes for music. The reason people fear and mourn blindness and deafness is because of the "lossy" translation between these sensory mediums.

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

@anarchopteryx What's more likely is we'll never know for sure if they're sentient or have just gotten very good at mimicking sentience. This is going to be very awkward for humanity as we'll either have to legally acknowledge their personhood or pretend that we don't think of them as people

[Catsuka @catsuka]

The new season of "The Legend of Luo Xiaohei" (Preschool Arc) is coming on October 30.
This is the Chinese web series directed by MTJJ (since 2011) which inspired "The Legend of Hei" movies.

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

When I told him I don't, he said "You probably read a lot of fantasy books then" just fucking shoot me in the face at this point why don't you

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

Thesis councellor said I should use less AI in my writing. I did not use any AI in my writing. :).

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

@Jerry7Y @ZloNoNameSov @spookithanu Ah you mean worthless as in resale value, I was thinking of entertainment value. In that sale metric yeah they're worthless. As for the fandom wars, thank god I haven't come across them

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

@ZloNoNameSov @spookithanu That's fair. I'd reccomend 8th MS team or War in the Pocket or Hathaway's flash if you weren't checked out of Gundam entirely. But tbh Unicorn is just about the best there is, so if you didn't like it it's not your thing and that's alright

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

@Jerry7Y @ZloNoNameSov @spookithanu I guess I'm not in the fandom, I just watch the shows and build the kits. And the kits are dope! Fun to build, fun to play with, look great. I can agree lego is superior, but I don't see how they're comparable with static figures

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

@ZloNoNameSov @spookithanu I've watched a lot of Marvel and there isn't much to it. I've watched some of Gundam and it blew my socks off. Is your opinion on Gundam built off your own experience with it, or is it based and what you've been told about it? But anyways, to each their own

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

@ZloNoNameSov @spookithanu As a Gundam fan, I partly agree with you in the sense that Gundam is a massively sucessful franchise with a bajillion spin offs, cameos, etc. It's designed to be milked. However... a lot of it is actually good and profound, Marvel could only hope

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

@Jerry7Y @ZloNoNameSov @spookithanu Take so ass I'm genuinely speechless

[nonexistingname @nonexistingnumb]

@emersontung That is INSANE and way more than I expected from your first foray into model kits! Cannot wait to get my hands on this
