Even before the release of her upcoming album, ADÉLA had already addressed the possibility of people criticizing its more commercial and accessible sound compared to her debut EP, The Provocateur.

But according to her, this change in direction was completely intentional.

The Provocateur was all about experimentation, unconventional production and pushing boundaries. It introduced ADÉLA as an artist who wasn’t afraid to take risks and do things differently.

This time, however, she wanted to explore another side of herself. The new album is bigger, more melodic, more pop and undeniably more accessible, but that doesn’t mean she’s abandoning the artistic identity she built with her debut.

ADÉLA already proved that she could experiment. She simply doesn’t want to spend her career trying to recreate the same sound.

And honestly? What’s more experimental than refusing to repeat yourself?
