President Bola Tinubu has admitted that the recent removal of petrol subsidy has made life more difficult for Nigerians.

Tinubu, in his maiden Democracy Day address to Nigerians on Monday, however, said that although he feels the pain of the masses, there is a need for them to sacrifice more for the betterment of the entire nation.

He added that his administration will “reward” their sacrifices with “massive investment” in transportation infrastructure, education, regular power supply, and healthcare.
