Got a lotta followers recently so here’s the lay down. I’m a big huge fan of Metal Gear, Zelda, Smash, and Fire Emblem.
I like to speculate and just basically hang out on here so a lot of my tweets are more or less me goofing off.
Thanks for checking out my Twitter!
With Star Fox on our minds, we decided to revisit our ranking of the games for the first time since the release of Star Fox Zero in 2016.
You'll never guess what we put as number one! Unless you guessed the Switch 2 remake of Star Fox 64. If that's the case, then you nailed it. https://t.co/LJe303CSv2
When developing Star Fox™, we thought it was fitting for some of our team to visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine during a trip to Kyoto. We are very honored to have had the chance to work on this beloved franchise.
General Pepper and an Arwing are both in Adventures. Command released in 2006. The multiplayer was one of the most highly praised elements of Assault. 64 has on foot multiplayer but no on foot missions made it into the final game. Star Fox Command still has free flight.

Working on Quake with the OG id team was among the most interesting and fun projects of my career. And that experience provided an amazing springboard into constant adventure. Full of appreciation and gratitude for the chance provided me by Carmack, Romero, and the community ❤️
I spent years turning a silly animation idea into a full game.
Now, you can literally play as a Spinosaurus parrying giant bosses with a colossal greatsword.
Dinoblade drops next month on PC!
Seeing a lot of people giving feedback that the ring looks weirdly small or "wrong", and I have a hypothesis as to why. Modern Photography of celestial bodies has taught our brains that the "rules" when looking at something in space are 'big and slow', and that we never see mechanical details, only landmasses.
When matched against the OG title screen the camera swing is comparatively fast, and the landmasses are downplayed while the mechanical surfaces are heavily emphasized.
This produces the sensation that what we're looking at is far smaller in scale than a planetoid, because all the signifiers we are conditioned to are reversed: instead of big and slow with landmasses visible, we see a few puffs of things that might be clouds and a bunch of structures that could be mistaken for watch gears. The result is an optical illusion that achieves the inverse of the intended visual presentation. Compare to the OG Title screen below, where the mechanicals are small, landmasses prominent, and the camera swings are slower and less abrupt.

In his latest video, Jason Schreier said this about the XBOX layoffs:
"The reason why XBOX games struggle is because developers live in constant uncertainty and fear of layoffs."
That reminded me about this Iwata quote from 2013.
