wuthering heights is literally about heathcliff being discriminated bc of his skin color and that’s why he’s full of anger later in the book, it pisses me off when they take that big part of the book in the movies

wuthering heights is a book about racism, cycle of abuse and healing from generational trauma told through two very unreliable narrators with a passionate love story inside that is far from healthy and it is so frustrating to see hollywood turn it solely into a sexual fantasy
