@freshceonetwork He took that one a little to personal… wonder why? Hey who need friends like sneko when he’s got you and the whole fresh and fit crew and the tates
I submitted a complaint to BOP, DOJ OIG, and Rick Scott.
The message I sent:
I write concerning the confinement of Emory Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate at the Federal Detention Center, Miami. They are held on a United Kingdom extradition warrant. They are not serving a United States sentence and have not been convicted of a U.S. crime.
Federal pretrial-style detention is governed by the Due Process Clause, not the Eighth Amendment standard applied to convicted prisoners. Under Bell v. Wolfish, 441 U.S. 520 (1979), conditions or restrictions amount to unconstitutional punishment if they are imposed with an expressed intent to punish, or if they are not reasonably related to a legitimate nonpunitive purpose—security, order, or ensuring appearance—or are excessive in relation to that purpose.
Bureau of Prisons regulations independently require that Special Housing Unit conditions meet basic humane standards, including sanitary, well-ventilated, and appropriately heated quarters; a mattress, blankets, pillow, and linens; hygiene items; and ordinarily at least five hours of exercise per week. See 28 C.F.R. § 541.31.
Public statements attributed to the detainees and their counsel describe more than two months in SHU; continued segregation after inmates placed there for violence were returned to general population in about seven days; a recent move to a cell alleged to lack air conditioning and hot water and to have a visible cockroach infestation; limited recreation and sunlight; inadequate bedding; exposure to chemical spray without decontamination; and hostile treatment after complaints, including an incident over extra books. Facility-wide reports of heat, pests, and plumbing problems at FDC Miami give those allegations a context beyond a single high-profile account.
Administrative or “protective” labels do not end the inquiry. Prolonged SHU detention of unconvicted extradition detainees, without a time-limited, reviewable, individualized security finding, combined with conditions alleged to fall below the Bureau’s own SHU rules and to have worsened after public complaint, supports an inference of punishment in fact.
I do not ask that these men receive privileges unavailable to other detainees. I ask that their housing be measured against Bell and 28 C.F.R. § 541.31: a documented, current justification for SHU placement; sanitary and climate-adequate cells; required exercise; and no retaliatory downgrade of conditions.
Please review their classification, cell assignment, and conditions of confinement and correct any practice that is punitive or that fails Bureau regulations.
There is something profoundly, despicably evil - a particular kind of darkness - about the fact that a HUMAN BEING can be placed entirely at the random mercy of other human beings and tortured cruelly behind locked doors with no end in sight. No matter the strength of the body - and bravado aside - each human breathes and bleeds the same way - with pain.
Jesus taught that how we treat the imprisoned (especially wrongfully - with no convictions, no due process) is a reflection of how we treat Him.
I don't think any of us truly understands the weight of those words. How many are truly blameless to cast the first stone?
What Andrew has described is absolutely despicable. 61 days (that's 1,464 hours....87,840 minutes) in punitive housing and cruel retaliation. And for what? This doesn't even include the half a decade of endless violations on freedom they have already lived through.
Whatever anyone thinks of him, there is a humanity line that must never be crossed. Once human dignity is made into some privilege reserved just for those we happen to like, there is NO going back from this.
This can happen to ANYone's husband, brother, father, boyfriend, son. It should horrify us all that this is happening on US soil, in Florida no less.
I'm certain @McBrideLawNYC and the rest of the team is doing absolutely all they can. For the public, there are a couple of channels for raising concerns. And even though each person may think their voice is "just one voice, what can it possibly do?" - we may never know. However, it will be forever etched into the ethers and eternity for an action that was taken to stand up for the light, no matter if anyone sees or not.
And ultimately, this is beyond Andrew and Tristan -- this shines the light on the cruel and unusual punishment of the so-called "justice" system of America that countless others have endured and continue to endure.

Yes, all of this certainly goes up much further than we know or can do anything about, but any action, no matter how seemingly insignificant, counts towards the good in this battle of good vs. evil.
FDC Miami is a federal facility, and the torture of my clients is happening in Miami, in Ron DeSantis' Florida.
Ron DeSantis has the voice and the standing to demand that the federal government end it on Florida soil.
@GovRonDeSantis, speak up.
🚨 Peter Jackson had, in recent months, confirmed that he and Warner Bros. were actively in talks with the Tolkien Estate to acquire the film rights to The Silmarillion.
Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival, Jackson revealed that discussions have finally become possible because a “new generation” within the Tolkien Estate is now more open to adaptations than in the past.
For years, Christopher Tolkien strongly opposed Hollywood interpretations of his father’s deeper mythology, fiercely protecting works like The Silmarillion from being turned into films.
But now, the door may finally be opening.
And if this actually happens…
Middle-earth could expand far beyond Hobbits, Rings, and the War of the Ring.
Because The Silmarillion is Tolkien’s true mythological epic.
The creation of Arda.
The rise of Morgoth.
The wars of the First Age.
The fall of kingdoms.
The birth of Sauron’s darkness.
Stories so massive, tragic, and ancient that even The Lord of the Rings feels small beside them.
Jackson also explained that he’s excited by the idea of finally adapting complete standalone stories instead of relying only on the brief historical appendices attached to LOTR.
And fans are already dreaming about what this could mean:
Beren and Lúthien.
The Children of Húrin.
The Fall of Gondolin.
The Fall of Númenor.
Right now, the project remains in early negotiations, and no official deal has been finalized yet.
But for Tolkien fans…
Just hearing Peter Jackson say the words “The Silmarillion” and “film rights” in the same sentence already feels unreal.
